For me, performance has never been about the spotlight. It's about what happens when music enters a space and changes the atmosphere, and when a group of individuals becomes a community.
Music's most profound work often happens not on a ticketed stage, but in the everyday moments when people need it most. My performing spans solo recitals, chamber music, collaborative piano and new music - in concert halls, community centers, schools and museums. I also lead a congregation through musical worship each week. No matter the setting, I want my audiences to feel welcomed and included.

Music belongs to everyone who has ever needed to feel understood, challenged, or simply more alive. Music is one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding each other. That is the experience I work toward every time I’m at the piano.

I love working with others - musicians of all backgrounds, dancers, artists, scientists and storytellers. It is a gift to explore new creative horizons and ask questions together.

I think of programming as its own form of storytelling. I want to curate an experience that helps us learn about a period of history, a community, an idea.

Living composers deserve living audiences. I am committed to performing and advocating for new works alongside standard classical repertoire, including works that I create myself.
Repertoire & Range
My performing spans the standard solo and chamber literature alongside a genuine commitment to music beyond the classical tradition. I have developed advanced skills in sight-reading, improvisation, and arranging while working with gospel, jazz, film, and popular genres. By expanding my musical versatility, I can honor diverse audiences and center their experience in performance.

On Playing for New Audiences

Upcoming Events
Multiverse Concert Series at Boston University · January 2027
The Multiverse Concert Series brings together music and science in immersive, interdisciplinary programs designed to reach audiences who might not otherwise walk into a concert hall. As both Director of Education and a featured performing pianist, I develop music and science curricula for K-12 students across the greater Boston area, and perform new music in venues chosen for their accessibility and impact, such as Boston's Museum of Science.
In January 2027, violinist Erin White and I will present a concert in collaboration with Dr. Sarah Davies, Associate Professor of Biology and Associate Director of Boston University’s Marine Program. The event will feature a lecture, original music and multimedia educating audiences on the ecological importance of coral reefs and preservation efforts.

The Bristol Chorale of Massachusetts is a non-profit music organization whose goal is to enrich the local cultural community by presenting concerts featuring a diverse repertoire of choral music, ranging from Renaissance masterworks to Modern and Contemporary selections.
Boston Public Schools and Children’s Services of Roxbury · Academic Year 2026-27
This past season, violinist Erin White and I were commissioned to compose an original violin and piano duo paired with a science children’s book reading on photosynthesis and trees. We have offered this immersive lesson and performance to numerous Title I schools and youth service centers. We are currently developing a new event focused on oceans and coral reefs for the 2026-27 school year.
